TEACHER TRAINING SHORT COURSES

As well as CELTA and DELTA, we also offer Teacher Training Online Short Courses on a fulltime and part-time basis throughout the year.

These courses are designed to provide continuous professional development for both experienced and newly qualified teachers and are all delivered by one of team of our highly experienced CELTA and DELTA trainers, who have teaching experience in the relevant area.

Teacher Training Online Short Courses

Currently Stafford House offer three Teacher Training short courses which are taught online from our London Teacher Training centre.

Teacher Training Online Short Courses don’t include any assessment or teaching practice – they are each made up of 15 hours of live input on Zoom and interactive activities, intended to prepare you for various teaching specialisms. At the end of your course, you will receive a Stafford House certificate.

Please note a minimum of 4 candidates is required to run each course.

How To Teach English to Young Learners

Certificate in Teaching English to Young Learners

This Online Teacher Training Short Course will cover the following content:

Young learners vs adult learners – key differences
Motivation and behaviour for young learners
Activity types for children – songs, games etc
Tools, toys and online resources for use in the young learners classroom
Planning for young learners lessons – energy levels, activity types
Expectations of young learners teachers
